RCCDSB History
The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board was founded in 1969 as the Renfrew County Roman Catholic Seperate School Board. Our name changed in 1998 to be what we know today, the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board. Since then, we have grown to be a school board of 18 Elementary Schools, 2 Secondary Schools, and 1 Virtual Elementary School. In 1990, the first Mission and Vision was established and called “Vision 2000”. In 2002, the Catholic community reanimated this to be called “Our Vision” and the Board brought this vision to life for nearly 20 years. In 2022, the Board once again worked with the Catholic community of Renfrew County and reanimated the Mission and Vision to reflect who we are as a Catholic School Board today. We look forward to bringing this mission and vision to life for many years to come!
