Co-Op Education and the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program
At Renfrew County Catholic District School Board, providing opportunities for our students to explore options about future careers choices is very important to us.
Co-Op education allows students to “test drive” out a career that they might be interested in by going to work for part of the school day, or even their full school day. The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) allows a Co_op student to begin to learn a skilled trade while completing the requirements for their high school diploma.
