Welcome to St. Anthony’s Catholic School, located in the beautiful town of Chalk River in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. We are a welcoming Catholic school community that celebrates the potential and spirit of every child—encouraging them to strive toward their goals, live their faith, and grow into ambassadors for their families, responsible stewards of our environment, and positive role models for the future.

St. Anthony’s is often described as a hidden gem—a small school with a big heart. With fewer than 100 students from Kindergarten through Grade 8, our excellent student-to-educator ratio allows us to provide personalized support for each child. We take pride in promoting and encouraging high academic achievement, while setting clear and high expectations for student conduct, responsibility, and respect.

We are proud of our vibrant school yard, one of the largest in the area, which includes a beach volleyball court, basketball court, softball backstop, soccer field, gaga pits, swings, and two impressive play structures. Beyond our grounds, we value our strong partnerships with Garrison Petawawa, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, the Catholic Women’s League, and the Knights of Columbus, and we work closely with our parish priest, Father Moses Nwosu.
