School Council is an advisory committee consisting of parent, staff, and student members. Council members provide advice to the principal and the school board on issues such as curriculum priorities, school procedures, strategies to improve school performance, community use of schools, the school year calendar, and school policies (e.g. dress code, use of personal electronic devices, special events, etc.).

School Council meetings are typically held on the last Monday of each school month, excluding December and June.  They are held in the Robert Tate Library.  Meeting minutes are available upon request.
