Media Release: Renfrew County Catholic District School Board Announces New School Principal for St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Calabogie

PEMBROKE, ON – December 3, 2025– The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) is pleased to announce that Julie Shreenan, current Vice-Principal of Bishop Smith Catholic High School, has been redeployed to serve as the Principal at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Calabogie. 

Julie started her career with the RCCDSB in 2001 as a permanent teacher at St. James Catholic School in Eganville. In 2003, she moved to Holy Name, where she taught for 14 years. Her tenure at Bishop Smith Catholic High School began in 2017. Following this, she served as Vice Principal at St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew until 2024, at which point she returned to Bishop Smith as a Vice Principal. Her extensive experience and deep understanding gained from working with students across all grade levels will be a valuable asset as she transitions to the Principal position at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Calabogie.

Julie Shreenan will become the Principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School effective January 1, 2026. The RCCDSB extends its best wishes to her during the redeployment and is confident she will excel in her new role.
